Allegheny Health Foundation
The Pittsburgh region is known for leadership in a number of specialties including Healthcare.
Highmark and the Allegheny Health Network are major contributors to the city’s vibrancy. Allegheny Health Network leads the way in providing the latest, most comprehensive, safe, and affordable medical care possible, all close to its patients.
Heeter was a Producer Sponsor of Allegheny Health Foundation’s “A Night Under the Stars” in which more than $3.7 million was raised for patients.
The Mel Blount Youth Home
As he approached his 50th birthday, Mel’s wife TiAnda wanted to put together a special fund raising event for the Mel Blount Youth Home. She organized a roast of the Steeler Hall of Famer; Terry Bradshaw who had not been in Pittsburgh in years agreed to emcee this first event. It was a roaring success.
Fast forward to 2019. Mel and TiAnda just hosted their 21st annual event, honoring Casey Hampton, at Heinz Field in April.
Heeter has been a sponsor of this event for all 21 of its years.
The Mel Blount Youth Home has just celebrated its 30th anniversary. The mission of the Mel Blount Youth Leadership Initiative is to provide youth with programs where they will have a healthy environment to develop character, integrity, and values which will enable them to become productive citizens.

Epilepsy Foundation is the only national organization dedicated to helping people pursue seizure freedom.
The Neurofibromatosis Clinics Association, Inc. is a regional, non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness about Neurofibromatosis (NF), a progressive genetic condition, and maximizing quality of life for people with NF and their families by funding clinical services, family programs and research to improve NF treatment and management.
Eleanor Friedberg Scholarship Foundation of The Pittsburgh Foundation, in conjunction with Manchester Craftsmen’s Guild, was created for graduating high school seniors interested in pursuing study in the arts. These scholarships are paid directly to the institution that the winning artist attends.
President’s Council, Robert Morris University supports scholarships, a school or program of study, or an athletic program for the university’s students.
